Invisalign in Aurora CO
Are you ready to dramatically improve your smile? If you’re ready to put an end to crooked teeth, gaps between your teeth, or bite issues but don’t want to wear traditional braces, it may be time to consider Invisalign®. Here at Mile High Dentistry, we’re proud to offer this advanced orthodontic treatment to our patients.
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a revolutionary transparent custom aligner system that straightens teeth over time through a series of custom trays. There’s no metal and no wire, just comfortable, clear aligners that you can remove when you eat, drink, brush, and floss.
How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign aligners fit snuggly and securely over your teeth and gradually shift teeth into place, just like traditional braces, but without the hassle. It’s simple, yet effective.
The Invisalign Process
After you come in for your evaluation and the dentist determines that you’re a candidate for Invisalign, we will perform a digital scan of your teeth. From that, Dr. Ley will map out your custom treatment plan. You can even get a sneak peek at what your new, straight smile will look like when your treatment ends!
Invisalign treatment lasts from six months to two years, depending upon how much straightening and realigning your teeth require.
From the digital scan, your custom aligners are produced off-site and sent back to us. Once they’re ready, you will come in to be fitted with your first set of aligners, get all the information you need to begin your treatment, and be on your way knowing that your smile transformation has begun.
Patients wear each set of aligners for approximately two weeks before changing to the next set.
During your treatment, you will have regular visits to our office so that Dr. Ley can monitor your progress every step of the way.
What are the Benefits of Invisalign?
- Easily removable aligners let you enjoy the foods you love.
- Transparent aligners with a barely-there appearance let you achieve a perfectly straight smile.
- Comfortable material that’s durable yet gentle is easy on the gums and the inside of the mouth.
Is Invisalign Right for You?
That’s a question Dr. Ley can answer when you come in for your Invisalign evaluation. Aligners aren’t for every orthodontic case, for example in treating severe overbite or underbite. And patients must be responsible enough to commit to wearing their aligners for the majority of the day and while they sleep.
